Accounting Manager:

Our client is a leading manufacturing company committed to delivering high-quality products. With a rich history of innovation and a dedication to excellence, our client takes pride in their commitment to customer satisfaction. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join their finance team and contribute to the company’s success.

The Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of the company. This position requires a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional who is CPA certified. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and managerial expertise.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

  2. Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.

  3. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis.

  4. Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations.

  5. Coordinate and manage external audits, providing necessary documentation and ensuring a smooth audit process.

  6. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.

  7. Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to develop accurate financial plans.

  8. Monitor actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and recommendations.

  9. Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

  10. Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members.

  11. Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.

  12. Implement strategies to optimize working capital and minimize financial risk.

  13. Oversee the maintenance and improvement of financial systems to ensure efficiency and accuracy in financial transactions and reporting.

  14. Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement upgrades and enhancements as needed.

  15. Contribute to the development and execution of the company’s financial strategy.

  16. Collaborate with senior management to assess financial performance and support decision-making processes.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.

  2. CPA is required.

  3. 8-10 years of accounting experience, either public accounting firm or private manufacturing corporate enviornment.

  4. Strong knowledge of GAAP and relevant accounting standards.

  5. Proven experience in leading and developing a high-performing finance team.

  6. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. ERP or implementations.

  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  8. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong operational focus.

  9. Results-oriented with attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

  10. Highly organized individual with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  11. Knowledge of complex inventory requirements.
