IT M&A Business Analyst:

Inceed has partnered with an industry leader in the Electrical Power Infrastructure and Utilities industry to help find a skilled IT M&A Business Analyst to join their team!

We are seeking a skilled IT M&A Business Analyst to join our client’s dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in facilitating the smooth integration of IT systems during mergers and acquisitions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in M&A processes and procedures, expertise in developing M&A playbooks, and a knack for creating efficient workflows and comprehensive documentation. Responsibilities:

  • M&A Processes & Procedures:

    • Lead the analysis of IT-related aspects in mergers and acquisitions.
    • Develop and enhance M&A processes and procedures to ensure a seamless integration of IT systems.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and align IT strategies accordingly.
  • M&A Playbooks:

    • Create comprehensive M&A playbooks outlining best practices and guidelines for IT integration.
    • Work closely with stakeholders to customize playbooks based on the specific needs of each acquisition.
    • Provide training and support to teams involved in M&A activities.
  • Workflow Creation:

    • Design and implement efficient workflows for IT integration processes.
    • Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation to enhance efficiency.
    • Collaborate with project teams to ensure workflows align with overall project goals.
  • Documentation:

    • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of IT systems, configurations, and integration processes.
    • Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
    • Communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
  • IT Infrastructure:

    • Assess and analyze the IT infrastructure of target companies during due diligence.
    • Collaborate with IT teams to plan and execute the integration of infrastructure components.
    • Provide recommendations for optimizing and enhancing the combined IT infrastructure.

 

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • 8+ years of hands-on professional experience as a Business Analyst within IT Infrastructure and/or Mergers & Acquisitions. 
  • Proven experience in M&A processes and procedures within the IT domain.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure and systems is required. 
  • Proficient in project management methodologies.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field.
  • Prior experience creating or enhancing M&A Playbooks is highly preferred.

Other Information:

  • This role is onsite 5 days per week for the first 45 days with 2 days per week in-office after that.
