Channel Sales Representative

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Channel Sales Representative to join their team!
The Channel Representative cultivates relationships with existing partners while actively seeking out new ones. This role focuses on enhancing partner sales through strategic sales planning, training initiatives, crafting proposals, and diligently following up on opportunities. Additionally, responsibilities encompass attending conferences, engaging in partner sales meetings, and participating in user group gatherings. 
Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with partners to educate their sales teams and identify eCitation opportunities, bolstering the client’s reseller channel.
  • Cultivates professional relationships with key personnel within partner accounts, ensuring productive collaborations.
  • Takes a proactive approach in leading joint partner planning sessions, establishing shared performance objectives, sales targets, and key milestones.
  • Achieves assigned goals for expanding the partner network and boosting partner sales.  Continuously evaluates, clarifies, and validates partner requirements to address their evolving needs.
  • Orchestrates the involvement of company personnel for demos, kick-off calls, and ongoing support for new customers.
  • Manages potential conflicts within the channel through effective internal and external communication channels.
  • Conducts software and hardware demonstrations, leveraging strong sales presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Prepares and delivers proposals, follows up, and oversees closing activities.
  • Collaborates with the Channel Sales Manager to recruit new resellers.
  • Maintains detailed records of daily communications and activities using Salesforce.com.
  • Provides management with valuable insights on market needs and emerging trends.
  • Utilizes various methods such as on-site visits, conferences, webinars, and demonstrations to support the sales and marketing efforts of clients.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven prospecting and sales management experience
  • Attention to detail with written proposals, contracts, and other communications
  • Experience with technical demonstrations of hardware and software
  • Excellent verbal, written communications skills
  • Available to perform work related travel (up to 25%-35%)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
