Human Resources Generalist
Location: Tulsa, OK

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Human Resources Generalist to join their team!

Job summary:
The Human Resource Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.


  • Ensure the organizational compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Prepare and processes bi-weekly payroll, 401k contributions, and payroll journal entries.
  • Facilitate and conduct timely, thorough, and objective investigations related to complex employee issues or conflicts and bring to a resolution.
  • Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, employee retention, and morale.
  • Maintain and update the Employee Handbook.
  • Perform annual reviews of job descriptions to ensure accuracy.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
  • Strong work ethic, professionalism, and integrity.
  • Thorough knowledge of related state and federal labor laws and legislation.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to be tactful, empathetic, thoughtful, energetic, and an active listener.
  • Resourceful, collaborative, adaptable, and the ability to think on your feet.
  • Social media savvy for purposes of recruiting.
  • Must always maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to foster work relationships and build morale.
  • Knowledge of a broad range of human resource strategies and practices (compensation, performance management, hiring, and employee relations

Required Education & Experience:

  • Associate degree and eight (8) years of human resource management related work experience.
  • PHR and/or SHRM-CP certification.
  • BS degree in Human Resources or related field, a plus.
