Senior Network Engineer:

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Network Engineer to join their team!

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructures using Fortinet products, ensuring the highest levels of security, performance, and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and implement Fortinet-based network solutions to meet the organization's requirements, including firewalls, switches, routers, and other security appliances.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance in the planning, design, and deployment of Fortinet solutions, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and security standards.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution for complex network issues related to Fortinet products, including but not limited to FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, and FortiAP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Fortinet solutions with other network technologies, applications, and systems.
• Conduct regular assessments and audits of the network infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and areas for improvement, and implement appropriate security measures.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures related to Fortinet products and solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and developments in the field of network security, specifically related to Fortinet products, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Network Engineer, with a strong focus on Fortinet products and solutions.
• Fortinet certifications such as NSE 4, NSE 5, NSE 6, and NSE 7 are highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with FortiGate firewall configuration, policy management, and VPN configurations.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing Fortinet security appliances such as FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, FortiWeb, FortiMail, and FortiAuthenticator.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues efficiently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
