Compensation: $18 – 20/hr 
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Position: Medical Insurance Specialist 

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Medical Insurance Specialist to join their team! This role is critical for ensuring efficient collections and follow-up with insurance companies, ultimately aiding in the prompt and accurate payment of accounts. This is an onsite position, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Verify and obtain insurance coverage and benefits for all patients registered for services across various payer types.
• Prepare, submit, and manage claims to all insurance carriers, maintaining knowledge of current billing requirements.
• Resolve outstanding billing issues and maintain current aging of accounts receivable by providing necessary information, such as medical records or denials.
• Initiate communication with patients and third-party carriers regarding any delays in responses to claims or statements.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• A minimum of 12 months of experience in Medical Billing, Medical Collections, or Medical Billing Systems.
• Previous experience with Medicare, Medicaid, HMO/PPOs, and traditional insurance plans is necessary.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with reading EOBs (Explanations of Benefits).
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
