Compensation: $90,000-$115,000
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Applications Engineer:

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Applications Engineer to join their team!

As an Applications Engineer you will be responsible for the thermal rating, upfront design, estimating, and quoting of air-cooled heat exchangers. This person will possess the skills necessary to build strong customer relationships and assist the Sales Manager with coordinating sales strategy, sales forecasting, and maintaining outside sales representation networks.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer requests for quotations.
• Review engineering specifications to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
• Thermal rating and upfront design
• Prepare competitive estimates and quotations while maximizing profitability.
• Review and accept purchase orders.
• Prepare new job packages for handoff to project engineering and manufacturing.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university is preferred, but not required. Focus of study on Chemical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• Work experience within the air-cooled heat exchanger industry or a related engineering position is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with third party thermal engineering programs such as HTRI, EDR, Aspen HYSYS, or similar programs is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present to customers as well as all levels of the organization.
• Goal oriented and self-driven.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Experience with industry standards such as ASME Code and API-661 is preferred but not required.
