SCADA Administrator– CygNet:

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled SCADA Administrator for CygNet to join their team!

This person will be responsible for administering and maintaining multiple CygNet SCADA systems.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain CygNet SCADA systems, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and availability.
• Develop, customize, and implement CygNet scripts to automate processes, data collection, and system monitoring tasks.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to configure CygNet applications and modules according to operational requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CygNet scripting, system configurations, and data integrations.
• Conduct regular system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning activities.
• Monitor system performance metrics and implement improvements to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
• Create and maintain documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and user guides.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users on CygNet SCADA system functionalities and scripting best practices.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as a SCADA Administrator, with expertise in CygNet scripting and configuration.
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages used in CygNet (e.g., CygScript, PowerShell, VB).
• In-depth knowledge of SCADA system architecture, protocols (e.g., OPC), and industrial communication interfaces.
• Experience in integrating SCADA systems with other enterprise applications and databases.
• Ability to analyze complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
