Compensation: $30 – $40 p/hour
Location: Houston, Texas 
[TITLE]: Accounting Analyst III

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Accounting Analyst III to join their team!

In this role, you will ensure the precise and prompt handling of natural gas deals, including its transportation, storage, and trade. You'll be responsible for providing business results to management and addressing any discrepancies.

Responsibilities:

• Transaction Management: Accurately record monthly natural gas transactions and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in monthly closings, analyze account data, and reconcile accounts.
• Policy Adherence: Make sure all transactions follow company policies and accepted accounting principles.
• Estimate Adjustments: Record transactions based on estimates and update with actual data when available.
• Invoice Processing: Pay for gas purchases and transportation services on time.
• Stakeholder Communication: Build strong relationships with the commercial team and clearly convey financial results.
• Regulatory Compliance: Meet all regulatory reporting requirements and support audits.
• Report Generation: Create financial and management reports for transactions and account balances.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Over 7 years of experience in accounting/finance
• Proficiency in SAP, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Effective problem-solving abilities
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks
