Compensation: $100,000 + 15% bonus (base salary flexible)

Location: Midland, TX, fully onsite with half-day Fridays

Position: Data Analyst – Business Intelligence

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Data Analyst – Business Intelligence to join their team! This key role will focus on supporting and enhancing data visualization, reporting, and benchmarking efforts across the company. Working with various business units, the Data Analyst will drive data-driven decision-making by optimizing Spotfire reports, creating new dashboards, and leading the business in interpreting and utilizing data. This opportunity comes as the company continues to expand its data and analytics capabilities, making it a fantastic chance for a professional who thrives on collaboration and wants to help transform the organization’s approach to data.

Responsibilities:

• Optimize and maintain Spotfire dashboards and reports to support business needs.
• Develop and analyze datasets for KPIs and benchmarking to drive business insights.
• Lead corporate BI projects and collaborate closely with business units to understand their data needs.
• Provide training and support to employees on BI tools, promoting data literacy across the organization.
• Work with data science tools like Python and R to support analytics initiatives and project needs.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven industry experience with Spotfire or similar BI tools (PowerBI).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Familiarity with SQL, Python, and R.
• Strong background in data visualization and presenting findings to various stakeholders.
• Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Databricks or similar analytics platforms.
• Strong communication skills for delivering data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments with multiple projects.
