Technical Analyst III

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Technical Analyst III  to write and manage business and functional requirements for data aggregation, reporting, and data security. This role involves analyzing, designing, planning, testing, and deploying complex systems, with a focus on data modeling, ETL processes, and regulatory compliance. You will develop and review system specifications, internal controls, and batch scripts, and mentor other analysts while adhering to IT governance and SOA policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write business and functional requirements for data aggregation, reporting, and data security.
  • Analyze, design, plan, test, and deploy complex systems software.
  • Perform business process modeling and job scheduling tasks.
  • Develop batch scripts, stored procedures, and technical requirements/specifications.
  • Construct SOA web services and employ architectural contracts.
  • Plan and execute test scripts and develop software integration and data loads.
  • Mentor other analysts and provide oversight and feedback.
  • Provide on-call support during non-business hours as needed.

Experience Required:

  • Extensive experience in data modeling and database design, particularly for large-scale data aggregation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management and financial reporting, including regulatory compliance (e.g., Basel III, Dodd-Frank).
  • Hands-on experience with ETL processes and tools.
  • Proficiency in SQL and database technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
  • Experience in data governance, data quality management, and data warehousing solutions (e.g., Databricks).
  • Experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting technical and functional requirements.
  • Familiarity with risk analytics and stress testing tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in risk data management and reporting.
  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
