Senior Accountant Position

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Accountant to join their team!

The Senior Accountant reports to the Accounting Manager and is responsible for various accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities:

• Process monthly journal entries.
• Reconcile important balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Support external audit activities.
• Oversee and manage operating leases using lease management software, providing accurate payment information to Accounts Payable.
• Handle commission calculations using commission management software, ensuring accurate approvals and payroll submissions.
• Participate in special projects as needed.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Accounting or related field
• 3-5 years of general accounting experience
• Experience with managing operating leases
• Experience with commission processing
• Proficient in Excel
• Strong analytical abilities
• Familiarity with mid-sized ERP systems
• Basic computer proficiency

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with specific accounting or lease management software
