Compensation: $70.00/hr.-$80.00/hr.

Security Architect:

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Security Architect to join their team!

Role Overview:

As a Security Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust security controls across our environment. This role demands a strategic thinker who can see the big picture and identify where and how to apply necessary security measures. You will ensure that new applications and systems are integrated securely, managing and negotiating with vendors, and effectively communicating security requirements and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement security architecture and strategies to protect the company’s IT infrastructure, applications, and data.
• Assess and recommend security controls for new applications, systems, and technologies.
• Design and manage the integration of security solutions, ensuring they align with our overall security strategy and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the deployment and management of security tools such as SIEM, firewalls (Palo Alto), and malware protection.
• Ensure secure configurations and practices are followed across Microsoft Azure and Office 365 environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address security concerns and requirements.
• Negotiate with vendors and manage third-party security assessments.
• Document security policies, procedures, and architecture diagrams.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging threats to continually enhance our security posture.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Security Architect or in a similar high-level security role.
• Deep understanding of security principles, frameworks, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM systems, malware protection, and firewall management (Palo Alto preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Office 365 security configurations.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to various stakeholders.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, resilience, and a proactive attitude.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP or Security+ are preferred.
