Compensation: $85,000.00 – $98,000.00

Position: Sr Financial Reporting Accountant 

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to join their team!

The Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting, plays a critical role within a dynamic team of accounting professionals, consolidating and reporting financial data for over 40 domestic and international locations across the U.S., Europe, Africa, Asia, and Latin America. This position involves analyzing financial results from individual locations and preparing consolidated reports for senior management on a monthly basis.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee accurate and timely month-end and year-end general ledger closings for both domestic and international offices, ensuring alignment with corporate consolidation and reporting processes.
• Analyze operating results, including variance analysis, and provide insights to management.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with UA locations, headquarters finance teams (e.g., Treasury, FP&A, Billing, Accounts Payable, Revenue Accounting, Tax), and support areas like Legal, HR, and IT.
• Assist with the preparation of consolidated financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Identify and resolve complex accounting issues related to various entities within the organization.
• Review monthly financial statements from assigned locations to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal policies.
• Prepare journal entries to align financials with U.S. GAAP, including recording goodwill and non-controlling interest where applicable.
• Reconcile intercompany accounts between assigned locations and HQ, including processing complex intercompany transactions and foreign exchange gains/losses.
• Translate and consolidate financial results from assigned entities.
• Reconcile HQ balance sheet accounts for assigned entities.
• Compile financial reporting packages from assigned entities in the required format.
• Support annual audit preparations by providing schedules and necessary documentation.
• Analyze financial information and report on unusual variances.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus but not required.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
• Experience with consolidation of multiple entities and complex account reconciliations.
• International experience, particularly with foreign exchange accounting, is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proactive team player with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail, comfortable collaborating with both international locations and internal departments.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Competent in MS Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX and/or Oracle is a plus.
• Proficiency in Spanish (oral and written) is desirable but not required.
