Compensation: $60,000–$70,000
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Position: DevOps Engineer
Hours: 12pm-9pm or 4am-1pm

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled DevOps Engineer to join their team!

This DevOps Engineer role offers an exciting opportunity to be on the front line of application maintenance, production monitoring, and troubleshooting in a live environment. The position includes maintaining applications, supporting production systems, and overseeing deployment, with future potential to work on automation and CI/CD pipeline development. The ideal candidate will bring strong SQL skills, a hunger to learn, and a commitment to detail, while thriving in a collaborative and fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and monitor production applications on Linux servers
• Investigate application issues and coordinate with development teams to implement solutions
• Create, test, and support CI/CD pipelines
• Oversee the deployment of applications to production systems and handle communication on deployed changes
• Automate and optimize workflows for better production efficiency
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues proactively
• Generate and maintain technical documentation for internal use

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Strong SQL skills
• Experience working with Linux in a server environment
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash or Python
• Critical thinking and self-sufficiency in problem-solving

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Familiarity with Ansible, Containerization, and object-oriented programming
