Compensation: $18-$21/hr 
Location: Onsite in Tulsa, OK
Position: Cybersecurity Support Specialist

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Cybersecurity Support Specialist to join their team! This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to get hands-on experience in a security operations center (SOC) role with a light, monitoring-focused environment. The position involves working closely with IT and NOC teams, monitoring multiple security systems, and handling incoming alerts and tickets. The team is transitioning to an on-site schedule, and this position will be integral in supporting the security operations with various tasks like camera monitoring, alert triaging, and documentation. While the role may evolve over time, it offers flexibility for individuals who want to learn and grow in the field. There is potential for long-term career growth, with the possibility of being converted to a permanent position based on performance.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor multiple systems, including perimeter cameras and security notifications from platforms such as Splunk
• Respond to calls on the SOC hotline, and coordinate with the ITCC/NOC team to process tickets
• Monitor security systems for any suspicious activity or new filings from key partners
• Triaging incoming alerts to assess the need for further action or escalation
• Assist with light documentation and reporting as required
• Maintain a proactive presence and ensure continuous monitoring for potential security incidents

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience in a security operations center or similar monitoring role is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks at once
• Basic technical proficiency in security systems, including monitoring platforms such as Splunk
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with internal teams and escalate issues when needed
• Dependability and professionalism in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience with cameras, alarm systems, or similar security hardware
• Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and incident management processes
• Knowledge of security threat analysis and monitoring tools
