Compensation: $100k-130k/year

Location: Philadelphia, PA (Remote)

Position: Network Engineer

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Network Engineer to join their team!

The Network Engineer will be responsible for the company's cloud environment as well as their local data center. 

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure for cloud environments, primarily using AWS.
• Utilize Terraform to automate and manage infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement cloud networking strategies.
• Manage data center operations, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability of network resources.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to network architecture, configurations, and processes.
• Implement network security protocols and best practices to protect data and resources.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to cloud computing and networking.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on cloud solutions (AWS).
• Proficiency in automation tools, particularly Terraform.
• Experience in managing data center environments and understanding of data center operations.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and network security.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CCNA, etc.) are highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
