Position: AP Accounting Specialist 
Location: Tulsa, OK
Compensation: $27/hourly 
Job type: Direct, Full-time

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled AP Accounting Specialist to join their team!

Summary:
This individual will play a crucial role in supporting the Accounts Payable function by ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of payment processes. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented and organized professional looking to contribute to a fast-paced and collaborative environment, where their expertise in managing vendor invoices, payments, and general accounting tasks will be highly valued.

Responsibilities:
• Verify vendor invoices against purchase orders for accuracy and enter data into the ERP system for payment
• Review, code, and enter General & Administrative invoices in the ERP system for processing
• Create weekly payment proposals and recommend payment actions based on analysis
• Input approved payments into the online banking ACH system for processing
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies with purchase orders and address missing invoices
• Record expense reports in the ERP system when required
• Prepare monthly general ledger balance sheet account reconciliations
• Document daily auto-draft payments from bank accounts in the ERP system
• Oversee and respond to inquiries within the Accounts Payable mailbox on a daily basis
• Conduct general accounting tasks, including journal entries, bank transfers, and adjustments as needed
• Review vendor statements and address any missing invoices or discrepancies in amounts

Required Qualifications & Experience:
• At least two (2) years of experience in Accounts Payable using an ERP system, preferably Epicor
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and business insight
• Proficiency in time management, organization, and multitasking skills
• Dependable, punctual, and able to demonstrate high integrity in all actions
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently to resolve problems efficiently
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP and pivot tables), Outlook, and Teams
• Ability to keep meticulous, confidential records and maintain strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
• Familiarity with Epicor ERP
• Previous experience in a fast-paced accounting environment
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
