Compensation: $38-41/hr

Position: Senior Technical Trainer

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Technical Trainer to join their team! This role offers a unique opportunity to drive technology adoption and enhance productivity across a national organization. The position is a critical addition to the team, enabling more robust support for a wide-reaching branch network. The first six months will involve on-site work in Lenexa, Kansas, with up to 50% travel to U.S. offices after that. As part of the IT team, the Senior Technical Trainer will work closely with cutting-edge technology, developing training content, analyzing needs, and delivering engaging virtual and in-person training sessions. This role combines technical expertise, instructional design, and a passion for continuous learning.

Responsibilities:

• Develop training materials, including presentations, guides, and assessments, tailored to user needs.
• Facilitate live training sessions in various formats, ensuring technology adoption and understanding.
• Conduct research to maintain expertise in IT applications and business strategies.
• Analyze training needs and identify gaps through collaboration with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Agile software development teams to advocate for learner needs.
• Create, update, and maintain technical resource materials based on feedback and application updates.
• Support project planning and help convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Maintain and track training data to measure engagement and effectiveness.
• Coordinate vendor-provided training for end users.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 5+ years of technical training experience, or 3+ years in project management, business systems analysis, or similar roles combined with 2+ years of training experience.
• Strong understanding of software delivery methodologies, DevOps principles, and emerging cloud technologies.
• Proficiency in content authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Camtasia) and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Experience designing and delivering technical training for diverse audiences.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to simplify complex technical topics.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Certifications such as APTD or CPTD.
• Experience in construction, AEC, or manufacturing industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Organizational Development, IT, or related field preferred.
