Position: Investment Accountant 1

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Investment Accountant 1 to join their team! This is an exciting opportunity to support the accounting for public market investments in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. The role offers a chance to contribute to meaningful work, ensuring accurate financial reporting for various investment portfolios. The position is open due to growth within the organization, and the ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile financial reporting and resolve discrepancies for equity and fixed income portfolios.
• Prepare journal entries for cash movement, transactions, and gain/loss activity.
• Contribute to month-end and year-end financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Familiarity with public market fixed income.
• Knowledge of governmental and business accounting standards.
• Advanced Excel skills.
