Compensation:
$55 – $65/hour

Position:
Data Engineer/Analyst

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Data Engineer/Analyst to join their team! This exciting opportunity offers a balance between data visualization and engineering work, where the selected candidate will focus on PowerBI and ETL processes. The role provides exposure to a variety of modern technologies and vast datasets within the oil and gas industry. It’s a chance to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating on initiatives aimed at modernizing and transforming data systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop interactive reports and dashboards using PowerBI.
• Perform ETL processes using SSIS and other tools, managing data pipelines and transformations.
• Build and optimize OLAP models and work with three-dimensional data.
• Collaborate with teams to move and transform data across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Leverage Python and SQL to analyze and process data effectively.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 3+ years of experience with PowerBI for data analysis and visualization.
• 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering with MSSQL, SSRS, SSIS, and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in SQL and OLAP development.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• 1-2+ years of experience with Azure technologies, including Azure Data Factory.
• Exposure to Databricks.
• Industry experience in oil and gas.
• Familiarity with Spotfire and SCADA systems.
