Compensation: $34.00-$37.00/hour

Location: Grand Prairie, TX 

Position: Desktop Service Engineer 

Inceed has partnered with a thriving company in the medical industry to help find a skilled Desktop Service Engineer to join their team!

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT professional who thrives in a client-facing role and has exceptional communication skills. The ideal candidate will work onsite five days a week in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, ensuring IT systems remain stable, secure, and efficient. This role requires a strong technical background with a focus on Microsoft 365 Office solutions, along with a proactive and personable approach to problem-solving. Networking experience is not required, as the organization utilizes an MSP for these services. A stable work history and an engaging personality are highly valued.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and system issues to ensure minimal disruption.

• Manage IT service tickets and prioritize tasks to meet business and leadership expectations.

• Install, configure, and upgrade IT hardware and software to maintain optimal performance.

• Provide user training and support for new systems and technologies.

• Document system configurations, updates, and procedures to ensure clarity and consistency.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT engineering or systems engineering.

• Proficiency in Windows operating systems, virtualization, and cloud technologies.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 Office solutions.

• Experience in performance monitoring and system security.

• Familiarity with emerging IT trends and their potential applications.

• This is a contract-to-hire position with the expectation to be converted to a permanent employee within 4 months of starting.
