Compensation: $113,000–$132,000 base salary, plus a 10% bonus opportunity
Location: Remote (minimal travel required, less than twice per year)
Position: Sr. Application Developer II

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Sr. Application Developer II to join their team! This is an exciting opportunity to work in a hands-on development role, contributing to the enhancement of existing systems and building new features for global teams. The position offers excellent work-life balance, a stable industry environment, and the chance to influence long-term technical decisions. This role has opened due to a backfill and represents a chance to make a lasting impact on a dynamic and collaborative team.

Responsibilities:
• Engage in hands-on full-stack development, focusing 75% on the front end and 25% on backend support.
• Implement database changes to support front-end operations.
• Develop new features and support local offices by addressing bugs and issues.
• Work on client data onboarding, handling raw client data and ensuring seamless integration.
• Participate in automation and regression testing, including a shift toward developers testing their own code.
• Collaborate with global teams to make technical upgrade decisions and introduce new technologies.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
• At least 8 years of experience in software development.
• 2+ years of lead experience in a prior role.
• Advanced data analysis expertise, including handling raw client data, flat files, delimited files, Excel, Access, SQL statements, and data transformation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft-based applications, including SQL, Angular (version 15), and C#.
• Exposure to Agile development methodologies.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
• Experience in the insurance industry.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, including pipeline development.
• Knowledge of Dapper for integration between front-end and backend systems.
• Microsoft certifications.
• Experience with AWS and Docker.
