Senior Python Developer

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Python Developer to join their team!

You’ll be contributing to a well-established project collaborating with a talented and supportive team. With a strong technical stack that includes Python, PostGRES, PostGIS, FastAPI, Docker, and AWS services, this position offers the chance to work on impactful GIS solutions

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend systems for GIS applications using Python and web frameworks like FastAPI
• Design and implement APIs to connect backend services and spatial data to frontend applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver project requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience using Python
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud architecture
• Proficiency in GIS concepts and experience with PostGRES and PostGIS

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like Node or React
• Prior experience in GIS application development or a related field
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Gitflow
