Compensation: $25-35/hr

Location: Kansas City, Missouri

Position: Proposal Strategist

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Proposal Strategist to join their team!

This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional to support business development efforts by managing the end-to-end proposal process for various high-profile projects. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with a passion for crafting winning proposals and collaborating with leadership to deliver innovative solutions that make a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive proposal plans, including storyboarding, team assignments, win strategies, and kickoff meetings, to craft competitive and compelling proposals.
• Facilitate review processes (e.g., pink team evaluations), refine proposal content, and create impactful visuals and graphics to meet client requirements.
• Manage post-submittal activities, including interviews, contract negotiations, and ensuring successful delivery of proposal services and project outcomes.
• Track and support project metrics such as safety, budget, diversity goals, and community involvement, and assist with industry award submissions.
• Represent the company at professional events, trade shows, and conferences to build networks and enhance marketing efforts.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

•  Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field, and at least 4 years of experience in marketing, business development, or sales within a professional services firm.
• Applicable years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Adobe InDesign is strongly preferred.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience working in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry
• APMP (Certified Proposal Management Professional) certification.
