Compensation: $25-27 / hour
Location: Tulsa, OK
Position: Accounts Receivable Specialist

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team! This position offers the opportunity to work within a shared services group supporting two locations (both in Tulsa), where the selected candidate will play a key role in the accounting department by managing accounts receivable functions in alignment with company policies and GAAP standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AR processes, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external customers to ensure smooth financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct and maintain customer account records within the ERP system.

• Process daily invoices based on site-specific shipments.

• Manage daily payment collections and bank deposits from various sources.

• Process credits, adjustments, and payment discounts as necessary.

• Communicate with customers regarding payments, issuing statements, and managing collections.

• Work closely with operations and finance teams to resolve discrepancies.

• Conduct intercompany reconciliations and maintain an AR aging report.

• Prepare reconciliations, journal entries, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance reports.

• Ensure proper approvals for transactions in accordance with company policies.

• Cross-train and provide backup support as needed.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a related accounting role.

• Strong understanding of AR processes and general accounting principles.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to provide high-quality customer service and maintain professionalism.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience working within a shared services environment.

• Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements.

• Prior experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
