Compensation: $70,000 – $85,000
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 
Position: Senior Accountant

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Accountant to join their team! This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to play a critical role in financial reporting, process improvements, and strategic financial analysis. This company is seeking a motivated individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to enhance operational efficiency. The position offers the chance to contribute to special projects, such as automating accounts payable and developing Power BI dashboards, to drive process improvements.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on key accounting projects, including automating AP processes and implementing Power BI dashboards to enhance reporting.
• Analyze P&L reports to ensure accuracy, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide strategic financial insights to leadership.
• Prepare and post journal entries in a timely manner to ensure a smooth month-end close process.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies to maintain financial accuracy.
• Identify and implement workflow improvements to increase operational efficiency.
• Review vendor reconciliation statements and assist in resolving discrepancies to support AP functions.
• Oversee per diem processing to ensure compliance with company policies and accurate financial treatment.
• Assist in generating and distributing customer invoices, ensuring proper billing, contract compliance, and accurate tax application.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and P&L analysis.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
• Exceptional analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to resolve discrepancies efficiently.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
• Experience with Power BI.
• Previous experience leading a project to automate accounts payable.
