Position: Technical Sales Executive

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Technical Sales Exec to join their team!

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Technical Sales Executive to join our dynamic sales team. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong background in IT and technical sales who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building new business while growing existing accounts.

The ideal candidate has experience in data centers, MSPs, or technical environments with a strong grasp of IT infrastructure. If you’re a driven go-getter who thrives on hunting for new business, cold calling, and closing deals, this role is for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Drive New Business Development – Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities for data center solutions.
  • Account Management & Growth – Manage and grow existing client relationships while proactively seeking expansion opportunities.
  • Cold Calling & Lead Generation – Comfortable with outbound and inbound cold calling to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Client Engagement – Provide product and service presentations to potential clients, including data center tours.
  • Trade Shows & Networking – Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to generate leads and build brand awareness.
  • Biweekly Team Meetings – Collaborate with the sales team to discuss strategies, progress, and opportunities.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • 4+ years of relevant professional experience in IT-related sales or technical environments.
  • Strong background in IT infrastructure, data centers, MSPs, or similar technical environments.
  • Proven track record of generating new business and achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent soft skills – strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Outgoing, ambitious, and self-motivated with a “hunter” mentality.
  • Ability to give tours to prospective clients and present technical solutions effectively.
  • Familiarity with data center solutions and infrastructure.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

  • Existing book of business is preferred.
  • Experience working at TierPoint, MSPs, or technical sales environments is a plus.
