Position: Oracle Cloud Architect

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Oracle Cloud Architect to join their team! The client is currently undergoing a major Oracle Cloud Fusion implementation, with a go-live date of January 2026. This project focuses on Oracle Cloud Fusion solutions, including Finance, HCM, and EPM modules. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and supporting Oracle Cloud solutions. This is a long-term opportunity as the client looks to build a robust foundation for the implementation and beyond. Candidates with strong Oracle Cloud implementation experience, particularly in Finance and HCM, are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Oracle Cloud Fusion solutions (Finance, HCM, EPM modules).
  • Lead the design of end-to-end business processes in areas such as Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Record to Report, and Hire to Retire.
  • Develop functional specifications documentation for RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, and Fast Formula).
  • Support business users during key phases such as Conference Room Pilots (CRP), System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Lead the technical architecture for Oracle Cloud Fusion solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and integration.
  • Provide senior-level expertise for overall system architecture decisions and priorities.
  • Collaborate with product teams to design technology solutions that require integration across platforms and operating systems.
  • Design and review standard software, hardware builds, system options, and assess their impact on enterprise business processes.
  • Contribute to the roadmap and governance of system architecture.
  • Maintain and develop architectural assets, including security requirements, policies, blueprints, and frameworks using Unified Modeling Language (UML).
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance the enterprise’s architecture needs.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, with 10 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, 14 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • At least 8 years of experience in business or system development.
  • Proven experience with Oracle Fusion Finance, HCM, and EPM implementations.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle Integration Cloud.
  • Expertise in VBCS, OTBi, BI Publisher, and OIC.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable violation history.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in leading Oracle Cloud Fusion implementations.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native architectures such as PaaS, IaaS, microservices, and containerization.
  • Knowledge of best practices in integration, scalability, and security for cloud-based solutions.

Other Information:

  • The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Oracle Cloud implementations, particularly in the Finance and HCM space.
  • While the position can be remote, local candidates in the Kansas City area are preferred.
