Compensation: $50,000-55,000

Location: Kansas City, Missouri

Position: Project Specialist

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Project Specialist to join their team!

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and highly organized professional to support the successful execution of engineering-related projects. This role will work closely with both internal and external project leadership to ensure project milestones are met, budgets are maintained, and deliverables are completed on schedule. The Project Specialist will be instrumental in streamlining project processes, facilitating communication, and ensuring consistency in documentation, reporting, and planning.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with project teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Track key project deliverables, milestones, and action items while preparing progress reports.
• Coordinate and facilitate project-related meetings, ensuring efficient follow-ups.
• Perform data entry tasks, including processing change orders and managing cost reports.
• Assist with scheduling, compliance tracking, and workflow documentation.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field and 4+ years of related experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe/Bluebeam.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with cost management and project tracking systems.
• Familiarity with SharePoint, CRM software, and Microsoft Teams.
• Knowledge of Primavera P6 scheduling software.
• Experience managing project compliance and documentation.
• Ability to track and follow up on multiple project timelines efficiently.
