Compensation: $36-$45 per hour

Location: Kings Mountain, NC

Position: Electrical Engineer

Inceed is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer for a high-priority capital project with strong leadership visibility. This role supports new site development while the current engineering team focuses on operations. The engineer will play a key role in designing and implementing the project's electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and oversee electrical power distribution, including substations and power line routes.

• Collaborate with utility companies and internal teams to ensure proper infrastructure placement.

• Review design data, drawings, and contractor specifications to ensure compliance.

• Provide recommendations and technical expertise on optimizing power systems and distribution.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (must have significant hands-on electrical engineering experience).

• 5-10 years of experience in electrical engineering, focusing on power systems and distribution.

• Strong knowledge of power infrastructure, including transformers, switchgear, substations, and utility coordination.

• Ability to sign off on designs, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide technical leadership.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred but not required.

• Experience in mining or industrial engineering environments.

• Familiarity with instrumentation systems, P&ID processing, wiring diagrams, and control philosophy
