Position: Accounts Payable Lead

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Accounts Payable Lead to join their team!

The Accounts Payable Lead will be responsible for managing the corporate accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, overseeing vendor relationships, and maintaining compliance with company policies and industry regulations. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process for corporate expenses, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, approvals, and payments.
• Over-see and mentor accounts payable staff, providing guidance.
• Maintain and improve AP policies, procedures, and controls to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure proper documentation.
• Manage vendor relationships, including onboarding, payment terms, and issue resolution.
• Oversee expense reporting and corporate credit card reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations and reporting.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to support audits and compliance requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to streamline AP operati

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 5+ years of accounts payable experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of AP processes, controls, and accounting principles.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Experience in the oil and gas industry is highly preferred.

• Monday – Thursday onsite 9 hour days. Friday 4 hour day and remote
