Compensation: $25-$32/hr

Position: Electrical Designer

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Electrical Designer to join their team!

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to contribute to a variety of projects within a dynamic and diverse portfolio. The Electrical Designer will play a key role in supporting electrical design and drafting tasks, assisting with site evaluations, report preparations, and project documentation. This role offers a chance to work collaboratively with engineers and designers to develop electrical schematics, grid layouts, lighting systems, protection and controls, and facility designs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, site evaluations, analytical designs, and project documentation.

• Support electrical design tasks, including schematics, power distribution, and lighting systems.

• Develop engineering drawings and layouts using CAD software.

• Apply relevant design codes, perform calculations, and ensure project compliance.

• Maintain accurate records of project drawings, revisions, and related documentation.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Relevant education and experience in drafting or electrical design.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Excel.

• Experience with 2D and 3D applications for engineering drawings.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate in a multi-discipline team environment.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with large-scale engineering projects.

• Familiarity with electrical protection and control system design.

• Understanding of budget and schedule management in design projects.

• Knowledge of advanced CAD tools and design software.

• Experience with regulatory and industry standards compliance.
