Compensation: $60-75/hr

Location: Fully Remote

Position: Network Automation Engineer

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Network Automation Engineer to join their team!
 

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain Network as Code using tools like GitLab, Terraform, Ansible, Itential, or NetBrain.
• Integrate infrastructure automation with CI/CD pipelines for continuous deployment and updates.
• Utilize configuration management tools for system automation, network device deployment, and change management.
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions to enhance network reliability and performance.
• Manage the engineering, configuration, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure.
• Support automation of physical infrastructure changes and upgrades, including zero-touch provisioning.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Expertise in network automation using Python, REST API, YAML, XML, YANG, JSON, and NETCONF.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, VRF, SNMP, SSH, EIGRP, LAN, VLAN, and routing/switching.
• Experience working with Cisco DNAC, SolarWinds Orion, Webex, and related networking tools.
• Hands-on experience with vSphere Automation API and configuration management tools.
• Proficiency in Windows Server OS, Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting.
• Strong experience in building and managing APIs for service integration

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Knowledge of architecture frameworks.
• Experience with intrusion detection/prevention systems and network segmentation.
• Familiarity with zero-touch provisioning and automated infrastructure deployment.
• Strong background in diagnosing connectivity issues and optimizing network performance.
