Compensation: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00

Position: Administrative Floater

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Administrative Floater to join their team!

The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive supposrt across various legal departments, serving as a backup during both planned and unplanned absences. This person will excel in word processing and multitasking, ensuring smooth operations across multiple transactions or litigation proceedings.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents and correspondence.
• Open client files and conduct conflict checks.
• Assist with the monthly billing process by reviewing proformas, preparing client invoices, and coordinating correspondence.
• Enter attorney time using established time entry software.
• Manage phone calls, messages, scheduling, and travel arrangements.
• Process incoming mail, prioritize time-sensitive materials, and coordinate deliveries.
• Reconcile and submit expense reports related to travel and client development.
• Perform additional administrative tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree; Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in a professional services or legal environment is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PDF editing software; Excel knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent grammar, proofreading, and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate across teams.
• Reliable, proactive, and professional with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in-office from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with flexibility for additional hours as needed.
