Location: Port Arthur, TX

Position: Manager of Field Operations

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Manager of Field Operations to join their team! This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee field operations, manage employees in various pipeline-related functions, and ensure the efficiency and safety of distribution facilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pipeline construction, maintenance, and customer service, as well as a strong ability to coordinate projects and lead teams effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct employees involved in construction, maintenance, installation, and customer service within the distribution pipeline system.

  • Oversee the installation and operation of distribution facilities, including measurement and regulation settings and pipeline junctions.

  • Prioritize operational and pipeline projects while ensuring the most cost-effective use of manpower and resources.

  • Provide support and guidance to customers, inspectors, employees, and external stakeholders regarding policies, procedures, and company operations.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate smooth project execution and operational success.

  • Prepare, compile, and review operational reports, accident reports, employee documentation, customer correspondence, and budget plans.

  • Ensure adherence to all safety policies, industry regulations, and emergency response procedures.

  • Perform additional responsibilities as required.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Extensive experience in pipeline system construction, maintenance, and operations.

  • Strong ability to analyze pipeline functionality and prioritize operational projects.

  • Proficiency in using relevant tools, equipment, and computer applications.

  • Understanding of mathematical and algebraic principles relevant to the role.

  • Ability to effectively coordinate personnel and equipment while ensuring compliance with safety requirements.

  • Knowledge of distribution pipeline operations, customer service protocols, safety procedures, and emergency response strategies.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills with experience supervising, training, and advising teams.

  • Experience in workforce planning, budgeting, and preparing reports, policies, and procedural documentation.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, job specifications, regulatory documents, and technical manuals.

  • Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

  • Experience conducting group meetings and developing training materials.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving operational needs.

  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Requires mobility to navigate both office environments and outdoor job sites.
