Compensation: $30/hr

Location: Dallas, Texas

Position: Desktop Deployment Specialist

Inceed has partnered with a thriving company in the oil and gas industry to help find a service-driven Desktop Deployment Specialist to join their team! This individual will be instrumental in preparing and deploying laptops across the organization while offering support for system configurations and troubleshooting. The company has recently undergone a Windows 11 migration and is looking for a professional who has hands-on experience with deployment projects, particularly in Windows environments. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work with a growing company that is constantly acquiring new businesses and offering room for career development. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation and deployment of laptops across the organization.
• Assist in Windows 11 migration projects, ensuring compatibility and optimal deployment.
• Provide troubleshooting and technical support for internal end-users post-deployment.
• Utilize Intune (MDM), Active Directory, and Group Policy for deployment configurations.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate tasks and streamline processes.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the deployment aligns with company standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience with Windows deployment, particularly Windows 11.
• Strong understanding of Intune (MDM), Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities for desktop operating systems.
• Previous experience with Windows desktop OS installation and configuration.
• Professional demeanor with strong customer service skills, both in person and via Teams.
• A passion for continuous learning, including certifications and training.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• PowerShell scripting experience.
• Experience working in large or enterprise-level IT environments.
• Previous exposure to the oil and gas industry or related sectors.
