Compensation: $20-$22/hr
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Position: Workers Compensation Representative
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Workers Compensation Representative to join their team!
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take on a new challenge. The ideal candidate will bring direct experience handling workers’ compensation claims, along with a strong background in Medicare and Medicaid.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct insurance verification and benefit determination for a wide range of payers
- Submit, monitor, and manage claims, including workers’ compensation, Medicare, and Medicaid
- Follow up on denials, perform reimbursement analysis, and resolve claim status concerns
- Manage high volumes of inbound calls from patients and insurance carriers daily
- Accurately document financial activities and patient information
- Resolve outstanding billing issues, including denial management and records submission
- Participate in meetings and training sessions to stay current on billing policies
- Communicate effectively with patients, carriers, and internal teams to ensure billing accuracy
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- At least 2–3 years of experience in medical billing, collections, or billing systems
- Hands-on experience managing workers’ compensation claims
- Background working with Medicare and Medicaid
- Comfortable handling 30–40 patient calls and 40+ insurance calls daily
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Familiarity with traditional insurance plans, HMO/PPOs
- Ability to read and interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
