Compensation: $150,000 – $175,000 (plus Bonus)

Position:Tax Manager 

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Tax Manager to join their team!

This is an exciting opportunity for a tax professional to take ownership of an entire tax department. The company is looking for someone who can handle all tax-related matters independently, with the support of a senior accountant for filings. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is eager to shape tax processes and strategies. The goal of this position is to internalize tax functions currently handled by an external firm, optimizing efficiency and cost savings. The Tax Manager will report directly to executive leadership and play a crucial role in driving the company’s financial strategy forward.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of tax compliance and administration

• Develop strategies to transition tax functions in-house, reducing reliance on external firms

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize tax planning and reporting

• Research and implement best practices to improve tax efficiency and accuracy

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience in the insurance industry is required

• Prior managerial experience in a tax-related role

• Strong background in public accounting is highly preferred

• Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of tax functions

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• CPA or advanced tax certification

• Experience working with large corporate tax structures

• Knowledge of transitioning tax functions from external firms to in-house teams
