IT Operations Application Supervisor
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled IT Operations Application Supervisor to join their team!
This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically skilled and leadership-oriented professional to step into a key supervisory role overseeing application operations. The position supports both office and plant locations, focusing on mission-critical systems related to operational data and compliance. The ideal candidate will bring both technical and functional expertise with industrial operations applications—such as Hexagon j5, PI, or Enablon—while also providing team leadership, managing escalations, and ensuring performance across multiple platforms. This role is best suited for someone who thrives in fast-paced, hands-on environments and is eager to take ownership of application stability and support.
Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of industrial applications, ensuring availability and performance

Provide technical and functional support for platforms used in operations and compliance

Guide and support team members, handle escalated issues, and enforce service-level standards

Collaborate with other departments to align application capabilities with business needs
Required Qualifications & Experience:
-
Proven experience supporting and maintaining applications such as Hexagon j5, PI System, or Enablon
-
Strong technical and functional understanding of industrial operations, compliance, or EHS platforms

Demonstrated leadership skills, including issue resolution and team coordination

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

Familiarity with similar platforms like Honeywell Forge, AVEVA Work Tasks, GE Proficy Historian, or Intelex

Background in industrial operations, data historians, or EHS compliance tools

Exposure to systems like Aspen InfoPlus.21, Wonderware Historian, VelocityEHS, or Cority

Experience leading hybrid or cross-functional technical teams in plant or enterprise settings
