Compensation: $95–$105/hour

Position: Data Modeling Architect – Financial Analytics

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Data Modeling Architect – Financial Analytics to join their team!

This position is supporting a high-impact Digital MD&A project, aimed at building a trusted and scalable data foundation for financial reporting and executive decision-making. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with business and technical teams to architect enterprise-grade financial data models that drive insights across finance and the C-suite. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in strategic digital initiatives while partnering with leadership in a collaborative, hybrid environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable financial data models to support revenue, EBITDA, cash flow, and other KPIs
• Build robust SQL-based models in Snowflake to enable high-quality reporting and analytics
• Collaborate with platform and data teams to integrate ERP and financial systems like SAP, Oracle, or Workday
• Engage with executive stakeholders to understand strategic goals and translate them into data architecture
• Ensure data integrity, compliance, and traceability through well-governed modeling practices
• Support multi-entity consolidations, period-end adjustments, and scenario modeling
• Develop a layered data architecture that supports performance, transparency, and audit readiness

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or related field
• 15+ years of experience in data modeling or architecture roles
• 3+ years of Snowflake experience in production environments on AWS
• Expert-level SQL skills including complex queries and performance tuning
• Deep understanding of financial KPIs and structures under GAAP/IFRS
• Experience working with data from major ERP systems

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Snowflake certifications such as SnowPro Advanced: Architect
• Experience with financial dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
• Hands-on with DBT or similar data transformation frameworks
• Exposure to Python or R for financial modeling and forecasting
• Familiarity with RBAC and data masking for secure financial data access
