Position: Cyber Security Advisor
Compensation: $130,000 – $160,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Houston,
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Cyber Security Advisor to join their team!
Join a dynamic team as a Cyber Security Advisor, where you'll lead the strategic vision for the security department. This position offers a unique opportunity to both shape and implement security strategies within an innovative environment. The role is open due to expansion, providing a chance to make a significant impact in a growing company.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Monitor IT infrastructure for security breaches
- Respond to security incidents and conduct investigations
- Ensure compliance with TSA regulations
- Conduct regular risk assessments
- Develop and implement security policies
- Conduct security awareness training programs
- Evaluate and implement security technologies
- Collaborate with IT and departments for security alignment
- Maintain TSA-approved Cybersecurity Implementation Plan
- Develop and test Cybersecurity Incident Response Plan
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in cybersecurity role
- Experience in energy or pipeline industry
- Knowledge of TSA and pipeline regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven incident investigation experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with network segmentation policies
- Familiarity with cybersecurity assessment plans
- Knowledge of access control measures
- Experience in conducting security drills
