Compensation: $30-40/hr

Position: AP/AR Supervisor 

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled AP/AR Supervisor to join their team!

Inceed has partnered with a fantastic local government entity to help find a skilled Supervisor to join their finance team! This is a great opportunity to step into a leadership role and make an immediate impact, helping to guide A/P and A/R functions while also contributing to broader financial initiatives. Responsibilities:

• Supervise accounts payable and receivable staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations

• Oversee vendor maintenance, purchasing card programs, and weekly check runs

• Review journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations

• Assist with 1099 prep, deposits, reporting, and filing of tax returns

• Collaborate across departments to resolve vendor/payment issues and recommend process improvements

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 3+ years of accounting or finance experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role

• Strong understanding of general accounting principles, A/P, A/R, and journal entries

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across departments

• Proficiency in Excel and financial systems

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Government or nonprofit sector experience

• Experience with enterprise accounting systems

• Familiarity with purchasing card programs, vendor management, or tax filings
