Compensation: $65–$95/hr
Location: Fully Remote
Position: Business Continuity Manager
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Business Continuity Manager to join their team! This is a critical and urgent opportunity to build a Business Continuity (BC) program from the ground up within a fast-growing startup in the eCommerce space that has recently expanded into the government sector. With two government projects already approved, the need for a fully established BC program is immediate. This role will not involve people management but will require coordination across multiple teams, managing processes, procedures, communications, and deliverables related to both Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the creation and implementation of an enterprise-wide Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery program
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and document continuity plans and crisis response strategies
• Conduct training sessions and simulation exercises to ensure organizational preparedness
Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Proven experience in developing Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery strategies
• Skilled in conducting Risk Evaluations and Business Impact Analyses (BIA)
• Expertise in emergency response planning and cross-departmental coordination
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
• Knowledge of government frameworks such as NIST publications
• Experience with FedRamp processes and/or achieving Authority to Operate (ATO)
• Background in compliance and continuous improvement for regulatory standards
