Compensation: $30-45/hr

Location: Kansas City, Missouri

Position: Technical Analyst

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Technical Analyst to join their team!

The role serves as a crucial bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that product features are accurately defined, prioritized, and delivered. With responsibilities spanning user story creation, backlog grooming, issue triage, and progress tracking, the Technical Analyst plays a central role in keeping development cycles efficient and outcomes aligned with business goals.

Responsibilities:
• Translate business requirements into clear, actionable artifacts like epics and user stories
• Facilitate daily development activities including standups, backlog refinement, and sprint planning
• Generate status updates, burn-down charts, and progress reports for key stakeholders
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to manage dependencies and remove blockers
• Lead release planning and communication from kickoff through post-implementation

Required Qualifications & Experience:
• 3–5 years of experience managing agile software projects
• Deep understanding of Scrum and Kanban methodologies
• Proficient in Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar project tracking tools
• Skilled at writing user stories and acceptance criteria
• Strong communication skills for both technical and business audiences

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
• Experience writing user stories in Gherkin syntax
• Familiarity with QA/test team collaboration and validation processes
• Ability to manage scope, prioritize tasks, and handle mid-project changes
• Exposure to software testing and development best practices
• Strong problem-solving skills in dynamic team environments
