Compensation: $60/Hour – $70/Hour
Location: ONSITE (half day Fridays)
Position: Senior DBA
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior DBA to join their team!
This is a dynamic opportunity for a database expert who thrives in collaborative, cross-functional environments and enjoys providing strategic insights, not just technical execution. The ideal candidate will be involved in assessing the current state of SQL-based systems, identifying areas for improvement, and delivering meaningful recommendations. The role offers the chance to impact forecasting, advise on project direction, and support cloud and replication technologies. This team values professionals who can go beyond the “heads down” approach and engage as a strategic partner across departments.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess the current SQL infrastructure, identifying system strengths and weaknesses
- Collaborate with various departments to deliver strategic forecasting and database recommendations
- Conduct in-depth SQL scripting and system health checks to guide project direction
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Extensive hands-on experience with SQL
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and provide consultative guidance
- Cloud experience, with a preference for Azure
- Strong understanding of replication technologies
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Background in backend scripting, preferably Python
- Prior consulting experience or work in a highly collaborative team environment
- Familiarity with the Oil & Gas industry
