Compensation: $100k – $110k/year

Position: Controller
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Controller to join their team! This position will play a vital role in managing financial operations, implementing controls, and ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Responsibilities:
• Manage accounting and finance operations to maximize company asset returns and maintain detailed audit trails.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
• Prepare accurate financial reports, forecasts, and statements to support strategic initiatives and business activities.
• Oversee payroll processing, tax compliance reporting, and asset management functions.
• Coordinate activities with internal and external auditors and ensure adherence to applicable financial standards and regulations.
• Supervise and lead accounting staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and workflow management.
• Foster effective communication across departments and maintain strong vendor relationships.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of Accounting & Finance experience and five (5) years in a management role.
• Proven experience in gaming and hospitality industries, multi-state payroll processing, 401k and Roth year-end census filings, and capital asset and project management.
• Strong experience in tax compliance reporting and filings.
• Proficient in payroll software such as UKG or WFD.
• Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licensing as required.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
• Master’s degree in a relevant field and/or CPA certification.
• Knowledge of Tip compliance, GITCA regulations, and sales tax reporting requirements.
• Strong skills in fixed asset accounting, accounts payable, payroll, and financial data analysis.
• Ability to develop, control budgets, and manage operational and financial reporting processes.
