Position: Service Desk Lead
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Service Desk Lead to join their team! This is a contract opportunity through October, supporting a small and collaborative IT team. The ideal candidate brings prior lead experience in a service desk environment and will serve as an escalation point, helping manage ticket queues and support end users in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities:
• Act as an escalation point for service desk issues and provide support to the team
• Monitor and manage ticket queues, assisting with backlogs and ensuring timely resolution
• Support major incident management and ensure proper communication during escalations
• Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent customer service and technical support
• Maintain and improve documentation and service desk processes
Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Prior experience in a lead or supervisory role within a service desk or IT support environment
• Proficiency with ITSM tools (Halo ITSM preferred)
• Experience with Windows 11, Chromebooks, and Google Workspace
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Office and Gmail platforms
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
• Background working in a K-12 environment
• Familiarity with backend Google Workspace administration
