Position: Assistant Controller
Compensation: $120,000 – $135,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Houston, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Assistant Controller to join their team!

Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Perform account and bank reconciliations
- Handle fixed asset accounting and transactions
- Manage three-way match for invoices and purchase orders
- Review inventory and purchase order receipts
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Support internal audits and ensure GAAP compliance
- Collaborate for accurate financial reporting
- Provide guidance to accounting team
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience with general ledger accounting
- Proficient in ERP/accounting systems and Excel
- Hands-on and detail-oriented
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- CPA certification
- Background in distribution or manufacturing
- Experience in inventory-heavy environments
