Position: IT Field Technician
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled IT Field Technician to join their team! This role offers an extensive travel schedule, hands-on technical work, and opportunities for career growth. The technician will travel to store locations across the country, supporting the setup and installation of essential technology systems.
Basic Purpose:
The IT Field Technician I is responsible for the installation, testing, and maintenance of POS systems, office PCs, networking devices, and fuel dispensing systems at various store locations. Responsibilities include end-user training, project coordination, equipment setup, testing, and adherence to project guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Install and test POS, CCTV, PC, and networking devices in new and existing stores.
- Perform wiring, termination, and testing of network infrastructure.
- Train store personnel on the use of equipment.
- Ensure optimal placement of equipment for customer flow and employee efficiency.
- Maintain accurate expense reports and adhere to company guidelines.
- Coordinate with operations and vendors to meet project timelines.
- Travel nationwide to various store locations approximately 30-35 weeks per year.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Basic network installation skills and PC knowledge.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with hand tools and a familiarity with network and computer systems.

Other Information:
- Travel Schedule: Typically Monday-Friday, with the goal of returning home by Friday evening each week.
- Travel & Transportation: Flights are provided for locations more than 8 hours from Oklahoma City. Company vehicles are available for local travel, with rental cars provided for distant sites.
- Requirements: A valid driver’s license, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, background check, and drug test are required.
